This year Hullbridge U14's walked away victors after producing three great games of football to defeat three teams that have been very close rivals in the league this year. The boys walked away with two first game wins beating boy Catholic Utd & Hawkwell Athletic 2.0. Going into the final game against Leigh Ramblers it was still all to play for as both teams where in strong positions to take the glory. However Hullbridge held out to take a 0.0 draw and the point they needed to secure victory. A great day and a big well done to all of the boys involved on the day. Bring on next season !!!

Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
